Nestled on the shores of the Bay of Fundy, That Dutchman's Cheese Farm is home to Canada's finest artisan cheeses. Originally opened in 1980, the business is owned and operated by Willem and Maja van den Hoek, and managed by daughter and son-in-law Charles and Margaretha van den Hoek Field.

The family prides itself on making exquisite cheeses, primarily Gouda with different flavourings, including herbs and spices, as well as Dragon’s Breath Blue, Old Growler aged Gouda, and the spreadable gouda known as Smeerkas, in a variety of flavours. A visit to the farm will also introduce you to the Animal and Nature Park, an extensive gift shop featuring (of course) their cheese and accompaniments (and Dutch licorice!) and more. Always worth a trip down the shore to Parrsboro, but for now, get your cheese fix at Expo.
